Dramas

Now, I never chase new HK serials, the plot is so cliche and has nothing to do with creativity. If I ever watch, then it must have something special. Now still prefer old ones. Their new actors, like wood.

Taiwanese drama...cheap imitate of Japanese drama. But still full of typical "aunty plot" and some model that has nothing to do with acting. I rather watch TV Shopping. Never watch, observe a few scenes then brand as rubbish.

Korea dramas, all the same. Someone will get sick and die and people always cry. The pathetic part is they can cry for the same issue over and over again for several episodes. Again never watch, garbage that waste your time.

Chinese drama. Prefer costumed. Historical drama is the best. Realistic set and exotic location. Careful writing and plotting, plus authentic acting skill. Still, being so big a country, a lot of copycat or deceptive drama production. Must select and buy with wisdom.

Japanese drama, short, dramatic, funny, sentimental, nice and focus. Focus is important. If it is about medicine, just talk about medicine. Not like K drama, a medical drama is about two brothers fighting over one girl...usually poor and "interesting girl". Love Japanese detective drama. Seldom watch nowadays. No time, but will make some if happen to get some nice drama.

Hollywood drama. Totally different format from all the above. But average 24 episode per season makes is easy to chase. Current trend for new drama is either weird premises or procedural (an everlasting genre). Love House, like a Elseworld version of Holmes. Considering getting old NCIS as well.
